I am a fully qualified counsellor and psychotherapist with 15 years of professional experience. This includes private practice, psychiatric hospitals, NHS and Employment Assistance Programs. Through my practice, I treat individual, couples, groups at my offices in London Marylebone and Beaconsfield Buckinghamshire.

In my work, I often treat people who have lost focus or are struggling with challenges in their career or personal life. My core training is in Gestalt psychotherapy, which is a collaborative approach drawing on what clients already know about themselves and expanding on that to gain a deeper understanding of the issues they face. My work aims to raise awareness of their thoughts, behaviours, experiences and feelings both in relationships with others and within their own body. This enables them to gain self awareness and a deeper understanding of their situation, enabling them to make more informed decisions.

Common conditions that I work with include: anxiety, depression, loss, career and work difficulties, relationship difficulties and personal development.  I also have a special interest in working with people suffering from chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, ME and chronic pain.

When contacted, I usually suggest we set up an initial meeting to establish what has brought that person into therapy.  If the relationship seems comfortable and we feel we can work together, we will decide together a course of action and whether a fixed number of sessions is required, or we want to work on an open ended basis.  Usually clients are seen for 1 hour a week, but there is flexibility depending on the needs of the individual.  I also run small therapy groups for anyone who feels that would be more beneficial (when working in a group we learn from the struggles of others, which help us in our own lives).

I am happy to speak to you about any questions or concerns you may have so please feel free to call me.
